Kevin Ritchie
Co-Founder, Dry Creek
Kevin’s passion for building runs deep. His journey began in his father’s cabinet shop, where he swept sawdust and jumped into wood shavings before he was tall enough to reach the workbench. After high school, he launched his career in commercial construction, working as a tradesman and eventually rising into leadership roles with national homebuilders across several states.
In 2006, Kevin returned home to Northern California and found his true calling in the restoration industry. The urgency, challenge, and personal impact of helping families, businesses, and institutions recover from disaster sparked a deep sense of purpose. It was this experience that laid the foundation for what would become Dry Creek.
In 2016, Kevin joined forces with longtime friend and sales professional Dan Frame to bring their shared vision to life. With the support of their families—and a leap of faith—they built Dry Creek with the goal of creating not just a business, but a workplace where people genuinely want to be. Today, Kevin leads with the same heart, hands-on experience, and commitment that have guided him throughout his career.
At Dry Creek, the difference is in the people. Kevin and Dan have cultivated an ownership-minded culture where team members take pride in their work and treat the business as their own. A foundation of transparency, mutual respect, and shared values drives the company’s high standard of customer service and fuels a strong sense of community within the team.
Outside of work, Kevin is a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife Mandy are the parents of five children—four sons and one “lucky” daughter—and grandparents to four beloved grandchildren. Deeply committed to family, they spend time with their grandkids several times a week. Kevin enjoys coaching youth sports, sharing his love of teamwork and leadership, while Mandy volunteers at their school, supporting students and teachers alike. Together, they cherish family dinners, camping trips, boating adventures, and time spent outdoors.
Dan Frame
Co-Founder, Dry Creek
Dan Frame co-founded Dry Creek in 2016 with his close friend Kevin Ritchie, launching a full-service construction company rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to always doing the right thing. Together, Dan and Kevin bring complementary strengths that have been instrumental in Dry Creek growth—combining a deep understanding of client relationships with operational excellence.
Dan has a strong background in estimating and sales, with a passion for building lasting partnerships and ensuring a high-quality experience from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. He plays a key role in both acquiring and retaining clients, helping to drive Dry Creek’s reputation for dependability and results.
When we first opened it was an all-hands-on deck mentality, as I was out in the field marketing, I was also meeting the adjuster and clients at the job sites, writing estimates and trying to sell the jobs at the same time while Kevin continued to run the operational side in order to get the jobs completed within schedule as promised.
Eventually, we were able to build a strong team in Sacramento and handle anything that was thrown at us along the way. Culture was and still is one of the driving factors at Dry Creek and we continue that tradition today. We continue to grow the old fashion way with commitment to our clients, our employees and each other.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and creating new memories through travel, the outdoors, and shared experiences.
